While Sendang Gile taken from a legend which tells about the story of a prince which has chased by a crazy lion. He run into a wood and hide behind the waterfall. This waterfall than called Sendang Gile.

TIU KELEP WATERFALL These two waterfall are located in the foot of Rinjani Mount which also a part pf tracks to this highest mount in Lombok. Along the way to get into this waterfalls, you may enjoy the scenray of protected which is a part of mount Rinjani National Park.

The site of the oldest Mosque in Lombok, Masjid Kuno Bayan Beleq is in Bayan and is said to date from the 1700s, around the time when Islam first arrived in Lombok. The simple timber, bamboo and palm thatch structure sits on top of a unique foundation of stones, which is interwoven with no concrete. Lombok’ s unique Waktu Telu religion is said to have originated from this ancient mosque site.
